Alonzo Stagg Hikes
The Alonzo Stagg Hike is a one day, fully supported hike through Arlington, Maryland, and Washington DC. These widely attended hikes are organized by Troop 111 in Arlington, VA. This hike is typically held on the second double digit Saturday in March each year. Hikers can chose how far they walk based on their own endurance (10, 20, 25 miles, and 50 miles). It is a popular event for Four Mile Run District, with between 200 and 250 hikers participating each year. Each Troop that has participating hikers must provide logistical support. Hikers will be in buddy groups of two or three. All Hikers should have realistic expectations - 20 miles is a very challenging hike for anyone who hasn’t been training.

The 10 and 20 mile hikes start and end at St. Agnes Church, which is located at 1910 North Randolph Street, Arlington, VA. Each hiker will need to pay an entrance fee and complete a permission slip
