Troop 648 Scoutmaster Commendation for Outstanding Scout Spirit

This commendation is awarded by the Scoutmaster to Scouts or adult Scouters that have demonstrated Outstanding Scout spirit. There is no form or process for issuing this commendation and the decision is made by the Scoutmaster.

 

Typically, the commendation is made at a Court of Honor or Troop meeting or camp out and is accompanied by the presentation of a special Troop coin.

 

The Basic Award must be completed first. The Service Award is required only for the Master Scout Award. The order for the other awards is Leadership, then Outdoor Skills, then High Adventure, and finally Master Scout.

1. Symon Cater - Stepping up to be Provisional SPL at Camp Rodney (29 June 2019)

2. Thomas Howard - Planning and coordinate the successful Troop open house at Lubber Run Park (23 September 2019).

3. David Justice - Leading the Troop as SPL through the first six months of the COVID-19 response (28 September 2020).
