Den Chief

This page provides an overview of the the role and best practices for the Den Chief leadership position. This is leadership position is very important as the Boy Scout represents the Troop to the Cub Scout Pack. The Den Chief is a Boy Scout who helps a Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos or Arrow of Light Den Leader lead den meetings, outings, and activities The qualities of a good Den Chief are:
- Cares about others

Is willing to help

Is responsible

Works hard

Is trustworthy
It is recommended that Scouts serve one full year in the Troop before serving as a Den Chief.
